ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (DRAGON AVIONICS)
As an Avionics Engineer supporting Dragon, you will have the unique opportunity to work with a cross functional team of engineers that consolidates execution between vehicle analysis, design, and production extending through vehicle system verification and space operations. You will be equally anchored in all disciplines giving you the ability to spearhead change at the inception of product development, through production, to vehicle system validation.
Your creativity and relentless commitment to quality will be expected to analyze, create and maintain systems designs, define and improve processes, and develop vehicle validation techniques in order to ultimately build a state-of-the-art and fully reusable space launch vehicle system capable of safely and reliably carrying crew and payload. You will also put your engineering knowledge to the test by performing real-time troubleshooting on the vehicle as it goes from the integration phase through mission operations. Our fundamental goal is to allow humanity to explore the stars; with it comes extreme responsibility to ensure the safety of the crew and payload.

Avionics Systems Engineer/Level I: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00/per year
Avionics Systems Engineer/Level II: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
