About the role

Our Senior Software Engineer – Business Automation (Flame) works with the multiple teams in Production, Finance and Supply Chain to develop browser-based solutions that are used to improve the efficiency of Rocket Lab operations. These applications are built on a stack of .NET and Angular and rely heavily on relational databases and REST API’s.

**Essential skills
**

• Tertiary qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience within a relevant discipline
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Experience working in a scrum / agile environment
• Technical experience:
  • C#/.NET
  • Typescript/Javascript
  • Angular or other Frontend framework (React, Vue, etc.)
  • REST API’s
  • Relational Databases
  • Git

**Desirable skills
**

• Experience with docker/kubernetes
• Network programming (Sockets/WebSockets)
• Nodejs/NPM related build systems and tooling
• Elasticsearch experience
