As our Embedded Digital Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex signal processing algorithms on embedded high performance computing platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Working with algorithm specialists and system engineers to develop the signal processing algorithms we wish to implement.
• Designing, implementing, and optimizing the embedded software and FPGA designs.
• Integrating and testing the embedded software and FPGA designs.
• Participate with the test data generation team to create test datasets and firmware to verify the signal processing chain.
• Participate with the integration team to integrate and test the subsystems into each release.
• Evaluate the implemented design in terms of timing closure and resource utilization, and scale up the design into full implementation.
• Create, review and maintain technical documentation, such as design specifications, user manuals and test reports.

Experience and Qualifications:

• A university degree in engineering, computer science or other relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working with embedded software/FPGA systems.
• Proven experience with complex, computer-based embedded FPGA development and verification.
• Highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills, initiative, superior problem solving skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Proficient in VHDL or Verilog.
• Experience with high-performance real-time computing systems and embedded systems.
• Knowledge and experience in digital signal processing (DSP) algorithm development.

• Digital signal processing with FPGAs

• Matlab and Simulink
• Python

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
