Maxar has an urgent and immediate need for an Imagery Analyst to join our team in Tysons, VA.

Day-to-Day with your Colleagues:

• Working with tasking and collection teams to identify the best imagery platforms and products to meet mission needs.
• Searching and ordering imagery from large data libraries.
• Processing and exploiting various imagery data sets in support of target tracking and analysis.
• Creating graphics for presentation to various customers and decision makers.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Current/active TS/SCI security clearance with required Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Geography, Intelligence Studies, etc.  4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Minimum 5 years’ professional experience.
• Experience in imagery and geospatial analysis.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with software packages such as Remoteview, ERDAS Imagine, etc.
• Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and software platforms such as ESRI, QGIS, etc.
• Familiarity with multiple imagery platforms including space and air-based, government and commercial.
• Experience with tasking imagery collection.
• Experience as or working with targeters and collection managers.
• Ability to function as the sole imagery/geospatial expert contributing to a large, multidisciplinary, mission-based team.
• Ability to communicate well with teammates from other disciplines.
• Experience in creating imagery-based intelligence products.
• Experience supporting operations.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$91,000.00 - $151,000.00 annually.
