Firefly Aerospace is tackling problems in the �new space� market, which means we have opportunities to extract the best processes from �heritage space� development and combine that with today�s available technology to provide seamless solutions for these challenges.

We are searching for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Manager to synthesize our ERP software application with the business needs. You will have the opportunity to work with nearly all departments across the company to capture their business practices and ensure our software is aligned with their needs. You will also work closely with our Engineering Applications development team to prioritize software development work, plan releases, and communicate changes to the organization. As you develop in this role and the company continues to grow, you will have even further options to pursue, including leadership and management of staff or a more technical route designing software, integrations, and extraneous engineering architectures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead all phases of the functional/technical implementation of the project and associated requirements from the planning to post go-live, ensuring the accomplishment of desired scope, timeline, quality, and budget.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and schedule development, including feature and enhancement requests and configuration changes.
  • Develop and deliver requirements or specifications to the software development team; ensure requirements are aligned with our infrastructure, business, and technology needs.
  • Communicate the status of development and the project implementation among all internal and external project stakeholders, including all affected functional areas, vendors, and other external agents.
  • Troubleshoot issues and stay engaged with the end users.
  • Stay up-to-date on new feature sets and capabilities available to improve business practices.
  • Develop training materials on a timely basis and provide hands-on training as new processes change.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Experience implementing and rolling out new software products.
  • Knowledgeable of the aerospace industry.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Applications, particularly in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence, or other Agile project management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, including proficiencies in technical writing and exceptional documentation abilities.
  • Strong customer service focus; can work with a multitude of personalities and levels of experience to assess needs, manage expectations, and resolve problems.
  • Self-motivated.
  • BA/BS degree preferred, with 3+ years of relevant work experience in software product management.

  • Knowledgeable of the Odoo ERP Application
  • Experience working with APIs
