ACCOUNTANT

The Accountant role will be involved with all aspects of accounting and will be a key contributor in ensuring that our books and records are accurate, and that our financial reporting is completed in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare journal entries, account analyses, and reporting for each close period
  • Analyze financial data and research variances
  • Maintain account reconciliations and provide tax support
  • Help with annual audit preparation of GAAP financial statements
  • Respond to requests from internal departments and external auditors
  • Assist with the testing of system implementations and migrations
  • Research technical accounting issues

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business
  • 1+ years of experience in an accounting role (internship experience qualifies)

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other ERP accounting systems
  • Public accounting experience
  • CPA license
  • Experience with SQL
  • Ability to analyze a high volume of transactions and data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
  • Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently

  • To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
