Job Summary
This Human Resources Manager will lead a team providing Human Resource capabilities to Millennium Space Systems, a subsidiary of the Boeing company.

Specifically, this position will directly partner with the Human Resources Director to support of the company’s mission success. This role will lead the execution of the day to day operations of human resources including being the HR leader and primary interface with the union, partnering with the company Directors. employee relations, employee handbook and policies, process improvement and supporting compensation.  Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.  Manages, develops and motivates employees to include developing and contributing to workforce engagement activities.

The ideal candidate will utilize functional knowledge, models, and trade analysis to shape HR strategy, HR staff, and talent solutions.  The ideal candidate will partner with HR teammates to implement end-to-end HR processes and focus on continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with the Directors to integrate and implement strategic priorities and to drive functional talent strategies.
• Drive development and achievement of strategic organization and talent plans, reduce complexities and enhance the value of HR solutions
• Serve as a HR knowledge expert, consultant, and strategic adviser, working to drive HR goals and objectives from a consistent, company perspective
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand talent needs ensuring alignment, reducing redundancy and achieving results. 
• Anticipate future HR trends and identify innovative opportunities and programs to drive HR strategy within the company strategy
• Partner with the Boeing HR function to help lead the continuation of the functions transformation journey work while attracting, retaining, and developing the best team and talent
• Partner with Labor Relations to provide leadership to internal management regarding Union Relations
• Compensation expertise to partner with the broader Compensation team, Finance, and business partners to effectively design, communicate, and assure that employees understand how they are being rewarded.

Basic Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 3+ years of experience partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior leaders
• Previous Labor Relations (union) experience
• Experience in leadership either formally or informally leading teams in a cross-functional environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 7 years preferred of HR experience and a demonstrated progression in leadership
• SPHR(CA) or equivalent professional certification
• Experience managing and successfully leading HR process development and implementation across matrixes teams in a fast paced, agile company
• Experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication
• Strong builder of cross-functional relationships. Able to connect and to advise at senior levels within the business, thoughtfully challenging leadership when necessary
• Experience designing and implementing innovations within a collaborative environment
• Experience attracting, managing, and developing a high performing team
• Experience leading Change Management initiatives
• Experience developing and driving diversity strategies with leadership teams
• Experience driving transformation and org design
• Embraces a problem solving, innovative mindset, driving continuous improvement
