Maxar is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Westminster, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and supporting common infrastructure service solutions for the enterprise (Web based UI/API’s, Java services, Jenkins, Gihtub, Artifactory, Vault, UAA, AWS IAM policies, Active-MQ). As a key member of our team, you will work with Development teams and other DevOps engineers to solve critical issues while improving customer experience. You will also play a central role in building and supporting our services within AWS using a modernized build and deployment tools.
Responsibilities:
·      Investigate and contribute to solving various issues in production environments.
·      Deploy software releases.
·      Proactively analyze and contribute improvements to support and deployment processes.
·      Provide collaborative conduit between various technical and non-technical teams.
·      Work with the development teams to improve system quality.
·      Build effective monitoring, alerts, and metrics for production services.
·      Provide configuration management for production applications.
·      Participate in an on-call rotation.
Minimum Requirements:
·      Must be a U.S. citizen and be willing and able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
·      5 years of software or infrastructure engineering experience.
·      Bachelor's degree in a related field. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
·      Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies
·      Cloud service experience.
·      Experience running and maintaining Github, Artifactory, and Vault or equivalent technologies.
·      Experience with Terraform and K8S or equivalent technologies.
·      Ability to be on call on a rotating basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
·      Linux system admin experience.
·      Knowledge of OAuth2 use and management
·      Familiarity with Agile development process from build through deployment.
·      Knowledge of ActiveMQ or other message brokers.  

The compensation range for this position is $94,000 to $156,000 annually, dependent on skills and experience. This position is also eligible for a bonus plan.
