As a Legal Operations Analyst, you'll review and make recommendations to improve our legal policies and procedures, enhance compliance with these procedures, and evaluate and enhance our legal systems and software solutions. You will perform research, analysis, and report on key operational and substantive contracting, budgeting, and other metrics that will better inform decision-making, including matter and work product analyses, and assist with updating our corporate governance documents. You’ll also help manage our important intellectual property portfolio.

Must-haves:

  • Associates Degree in a related field and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
    • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
    • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Experience utilizing research and analysis methods
  • Familiarity with Legal Research Databases, e-billing systems such as Ascent DoE Legal
  • Experience with legal research, analysis, and writing
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/work with others
  • Ability to organize projects/tasks and meet established deadlines
  • Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify and coordinate projects to ensure the required tools, processes, and training are available and effective

Preferred:

  • Paralegal Certificate or Law Degree
  • Notary Commission
  • Familiarity with and interest in intellectual property law
  • Self-starter and a problem solver; must have the ability to see the big picture and implement changes as required

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $88,499.72 - $121,687.12

Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
