In this role, you will support the New Glenn program through leading workforce planning.  As a Project Manager, you will leverage your strong analytical skills, project management foundations, and key forecasting insights in order to deliver accurate demand strategy and analysis.

As a member of the NG team, you will seek to understand strategic business objectives which will feed into building accurate demand forecasts,  recruiter prioritization, and training plans. Your work has a direct link to the organization's growth and transformation over time and plays a key role in growing the overall NG business.

This is a high visibility team that must communicate effectively with many levels of the organization and with both technical and non-technical audiences.  We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight.   • Build and implement capacity planning processes across NG teams that will allow the organization to scale in response to business demand
  • Drive the strategic direction of capacity planning (long-term) and workforce management (short-term), staff solutions strategy, and geographic diversification
  • Assess current and future critical skills of NG program
  • Assist in the development and deployment of training plans aligned with skill needs and onboarding objectives
  • Provide prioritization and direction to recruiting teams to support NG staffing needs
  • Coordinate with Finance teams to maintain and update staffing projections
  • Manage the analyses of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of operational performance via Key Performance Indicators
  • Key Influencer/Business Owner for capacity planning, and workforce management decision support systems capabilities. Provides input and thought leadership on new tool capabilities and enhancements
  • Analyze drivers of significant forecast misses to continuously improve forecasting
  • Highly effective and efficient in ambiguous situations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, problem solving skills, and team-orientated philosophy
  • Solid understanding of people metrics with ability to explain the data insights to business partners
  • Experience working with and drawing insights from raw data & data visualizations
  • Educate and coach NG employees on critical processes and changes. Maintain content on NG communication platforms including Confluence (i.e. Wiki) to ensure and facilitate awareness of upcoming and ongoing changes and processes
  • Represent NG on cross enterprise workforce initiatives
  • Coordinate with facilities to ensure alignment with workforce plans


  • 8+ years of experience in program or project management with at least 5 years focused on workforce development
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or related field
  • Strong data analysis skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in making routine presentations to large groups and senior level employees
  • Demonstrated track record of resourcefulness and success from previous assignments and working with interdisciplinary and cross-functional teams
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum


  • Experience with Confluence, Jira, and Tableau
  • Experience in a small company and/or startup environment. Self-starter, who can manage multiple projects while working across business unit and functional organizations

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Estimated Salary wage (Colorado only): $119K - $199K
