Capella is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Direct Access Services team. Capella's Direct Access Services will support a diverse set of customers around the globe with a variety of missions including satellite downlink, SAR Image Processing, and Analytics Processing.
As Technical Project Manager you will work cross-functionally with the Direct Access Services team, Space Operations, DevOps, Product Management, Legal, IT/security, Sales, and the Customer Success Team to execute customer delivery projects.
You will be in charge of managing all aspects of customer delivery projects including proposals, regulatory filings, customer meetings, managing schedule and milestones, managing vendors, technical writing for customer deliverables, travelling to customer sites, coordinating onsite activities including customer acceptance testing, and acting as a customer point of contact during nominal operations. This position is available in San Francisco, CA or Boulder, CO.
Project/Program Management experience
Hands-on engineering experience and/or experience leading technical projects
Ability to understand complex technical issues and complex dependencies
Ability to communicate to complex technical concepts to internal stakeholders and customers
Working knowledge of the full project management life cycle
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
