About the Space Systems R&D Team
The Space Systems R&D Team is a multidisciplinary team within the Engineering department. We keep our eye out for state-of-the-art technologies and bring them to the space vehicle to implement the product road map. Members of the teamwork across the organization to collaborate on requirements and implementation approaches to deliver innovative new systems.
About the Role
Capella Space is looking for a talented FPGA Design Engineer to join our Avionics team to develop firmware for spacecraft systems. This role will require close collaboration with the spacecraft software engineering team to define interfaces between the spacecraft flight computer and various subsystems, including communication systems and flight electronics.
A successful candidate is a person who will have experience contributing to design, development, and test efforts to meet requirements and who is comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including HDL development, hardware bring up, and testing. Your work will enable new capabilities on the vehicles throughout their life cycle.
