Duties

  • Duties described below are at the full-performance level. Duties assigned at a lower grade level will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee.
  • Act as Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for one or more contracts on the Sounding Rockets Program. COR certification can be obtained after onboarding and is not a prerequisite for selection.
  • Develop and enforce program processes with the assistance of technical and program managers.
  • Interpret and/or review policy and regulations for program compliance.
  • Manage existing and develop new program documentation with the assistance of program and technical managers.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers to ensure that significant programmatic efforts related to procurement, governing processes, and critical documentation are professionally cultivated and maintained.

Qualifications

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level.

  • Supporting compilation and development of spreadsheets for both mathematical and/or non-mathematical data;
  • Database management to include gathering and inputting data to support report preparation;
  • Drafting written communication to include daily email communication and provide input for official memoranda to internal and external stakeholders.

To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level.

  • Developing and managing detailed spreadsheets compiling both mathematical and/or non-mathematical data;
  • Database management, to include inputting, gathering, and analyzing data for report preparation and generating briefings;
  • Preparing written communication to include daily email communication, official memoranda to internal and external stakeholders, and creating briefings.

This appointment may be extended beyond the initial appointment date, for a period not to exceed a total of six years.
