SUMMARY

The FP&A / Power BI Reporting Analyst position is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in building a strong financial reporting foundation for a fast-growing company in Firefly�s Financial Planning & Analysis organization. In this role, you�ll help tell the financial story through visualizations and reporting packages that will go from executive level management to first line management. These deliverables will provide valuable insights to leadership that will drive financial decisions and company strategy. This is an opportunity to build something from the ground up and make an impact to a company on a mission to make space for everyone.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead advancements in the company�s reporting capabilities, enhancing data visualization and analysis.
• Deliver financial reports, data visualizations, and reporting packages for leadership and management, facilitating informed decision-making.
• Demonstrate proficiency in data and process mining, drawing meaningful conclusions from large datasets.
• Conduct in-depth analysis, applying critical thinking skills to deliver accurate financial insights in a format tailored to the audience's needs.
• Summarize analytical findings and communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
• Interpret data requirements, designing, developing, and deploying analytical tools to enhance and optimize business decisions and performance.
• Manage recurring deliverables according to agreed-upon specifications and deadlines.
• Identify and track key performance metrics related to business operations, competitors, and benchmarking.
• Deliver metrics and analytical tools to guide the business toward improved operational and financial performance.
• Identify, develop, and implement process improvements and tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Intermediated to advanced proficiency in Power BI
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong financial and business modeling skills with experience in building financial models
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to tell a story using financials and to demonstrate the future vision of the company
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure within short time constraints and in a complex high growth organization
• Ability to pivot and successfully adapt in a constantly changing environment

Desired

• Bachelor�s Degree in Data Science, Accounting or Finance related field
• Experience with SQL
