Maxar is seeking an experienced Radar System Design Engineer to join our Sensor Programs team.

LOCATION: Ypsilanti MI

REQUIRED: Top Secret security clearance

Required Qualifications:

• Top Secret security clearance, must be SCI eligible

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math or related technology fields

• 5+ years of related, professional experience

• Programming experience - C++, C, MATLAB, Python

Responsibilities:

• Supporting a multi-disciplinary team in the innovation, development, and evaluation of advanced capability radar systems.
• Opportunities to work with and learn from community experts while developing innovative new systems.
• Performing requirements analysis, system modelling, development, verification, and testing, ensuring system requirement satisfaction.
• Updating and utilizing toolsets to generate, manipulate and test system data.
• Take on increasing ownership and maturation of complex models used to design, test and optimize system performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current/active SCI.
• 3 or more years of relevant experience.
• SAR or other radar system design and development experience a plus.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$91,000.00 - $153,000.00 annually.
