SUMMARY

In this role you will work collaboratively with the Aerospace Software Engineering Department to scale their software development and test at the speed of their development cycles using tools to automate the CI/CD process for embedded and/or Linux targets. You will work in a group of flight software engineers through all stages of the software development processes and collaborate with other engineering teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete the development, test, and integration of embedded software on time, meeting all functional and performance requirements
  • Work closely with the other engineering groups for the success of the program
  • Adhere to the Aerospace Software Engineering Group�s processes, procedures, and best practices

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor�s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM/STEAM field and 3+ years of DevOps experience on embedded software
  • Proficient with modern automated CI/CD environments as Team City and Jenkins
  • Proficient with modern automated test frameworks such as Google Test and Robot
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Proficiency in Linux
  • Proficient with the Agile Software Development Processes, Git, and Git workflow
  • Ability to work closely with other teammates and in a fast-paced environment to meet strict deadlines

Desired

  • Master�s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM/STEAM field and 5+ years of DevOps experience on embedded software
  • Prior DevOps experience in a related engineering field (Spacecraft, Rockets, UAV / Drones, Autonomous Vehicles) on a Real-Time Operating System
  • Expert Python programmer
  • Expert Linux user
  • Experience with software analysis tools such as Valgrind, HP Fortify and Code Sonar
  • Experience with GDB
