SUMMARY

The Staff Accountant primary responsibility is to provide accounting support to the finance department and, under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, is responsible for various journals, reconciliations and other reports and tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reconciles cash daily and produces cash report
• Produces weekly reports regarding invoices and purchase orders
• Process expense reports weekly
• Administers the payment card program
• Prepares payroll and other journals
• Reconciles general ledger accounts
• Supports month end close process
• Supports bank accounts and other treasury functions
• Supports insurance function
• Develops and maintains Excel spreadsheets as needed
• Other tasks and projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Bachelor�s Degree in Business, accounting, or related field
• 2+ Years� experience in an Accounting Team or related position
• Experience with on-line Accounting Software
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Excellent organization and analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills
