As a Purchasing Agent II, you'll be using your skills and expertise to purchase materials, supplies, and services on the most favorable terms for the organization. You'll be responsible for qualifying our suppliers, monitoring and ensuring our supplier quality and delivery, evaluating bids, negotiating prices and terms for purchased goods and services, tracking purchases, and maintaining a current database of our supplier information. Additionally, you'll work on complex procurements of significant dollar value, as well as manage multiple service type contracts.

Must-haves:
โข Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 3 or more years of relevant experience
โขHigher education may substitute for relevant experience
โขRelevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
โขSupply chain or logistics experience
Preferred:
โข Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) compliance
โข Basic accounting skills
โข Procurement experience
