Designs and builds cybersecurity visualizations, dashboards, and alerting mechanisms to provide immediate visibility into the JPL cyber threat landscape. Uses a variety of data analytics tools to provide additional capability to the Cybersecurity group, including but not limited to Splunk, Splunk ES, Splunk UBA, D3 Visualizations, Tableau, PowerBI, Hadoop, ElasticSearch etc. Perform data analysis and build dashboards to improve cybersecurity visibility and monitoring capabilities. Correlates cybersecurity events and determines threat priority based on severity, invasiveness, and likelihood of attack.
Collaborates with the Cybersecurity teams and System Administrator to engineer new cybersecurity alerts.Designs response processes and automation workflows for remediating cyber events.
Work with Splunk Administrators and System Administrators to perform cybersecurity data on-boarding and data normalization in Splunk.Collaborate with mission projects and other JPL groups to enhance and streamline cybersecurity initiatives.
