As Sr. Billing Analyst, you will audit invoices, billing matrices, and supporting worksheets to verify accuracy and completeness. You will develop and maintain billing templates to maximize effectiveness and accuracy, develop, maintain and monitor AR Dashboards to ensure timely submission of invoices and receipts, prepare AR analysis and reconciliation schedules, and perform monthly/quarterly/year-end accounting procedures to include Revenue Recognition, audit support, and general ledger reconciliations and journal entries. You will also respond to inquiries from customers, research and resolve concerns or discrepancies, create, monitor, and maintain departmental training, process documents and desk instructions for management review and approval, provide leadership, coaching, and/or training on AR processes and may prepare, process, and submit complex invoices, reconciliations, and closeout documents

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study
A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Progressive experience with ERP systems
Advanced understanding and experience with the practical application of cash management principles and/or procedures
Thorough knowledge of GAAP, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) compliance
Knowledge of rates and cost pools
Ability to mentor and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignment
Proven ability to problem solve - applying originality, creativity, and initiative
Extensive skills application in MS Office products
Experience with Progress payments, DD250 submissions, and electronic voucher submittals
Typically 6 or more years of relevant AR experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
Broad understanding of accounting functions within Deltek CostPoint
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects and attention to detail

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $68,926.06 - $94,773.33
