Want to work on an exciting opportunity to work towards full autonomous fault tolerant flight with our space plane? We are looking for motivated developers or engineers to join our team. You get to work in an international environment with a high ownership of the application/feature, carrying it from concept to testing it on the space-plane with a short development cycle. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting edge technology and (re-)define new boundaries. We believe in giving you the tools you need, then getting out of your way.

What you will do

  • Develop C++ code for flight computer, simulator and ground segment applications
  • Develop drivers for various peripheral interfaces. (CAN, RS485, SPI etc)
  • Implementing space plane guidance, control and navigation algorithms on a real time operating system
  • Assuring the code base is developed and tested to a high quality standard; Create tools for analysis, testing and code quality verification
  • Work with mechanical & electrical engineers to derive use cases and requirements for the applications
  • Participate in the review of source code changes and ensure all changes meet company coding standards
  • Working in a high-performance team of multi-disciplinary software engineers.

What you will bring:

  • BSc or higher technical degree
  • A demonstrable ability to write clean, effective code in C++, C, Python or Matlab
  • Exposure or experience with unit testing, test driven development and continuous integration
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and nontechnical audiences.

What you may bring:

  • Understanding of navigation and/or control systems (filters, state estimators or controllers)
  • Knowledge and exposure with real time operating systems, development of and with
  • Excellent knowledge of flight dynamics, aircrafts and control
  • Good understanding of the underlying principles of hardware interfaces
  • Experience with UAV's.
