Maxar is currently seeking engineering and science students to join our 2023 summer intern program in Ypsilanti, MI (Ann Arbor). Imaging R&D engineering team is comprised of various roles that contribute to the development, production, and test of novel imaging systems used for terrestrial and space application. Our signal and image processing experts focus on science rather than efficiency and prototype their ideas in Python, Java, C/C++, or MATLAB; once validated, we integrate their results into our operation software baseline, reusing existing components where possible. Our hardware experts design, build and deploy robust prototype systems that prove novel concepts and imaging modalities. All roles involve collaboration with interdisciplinary teams from multiple subsystems.
