We have a current opportunity for a Senior Engineering Technician located at our facility in Littleton, CO. In this role you will Lead manufacture and test of prototype and flight components with general guidance from engineering. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment, and assembly and test of hardware, while adhering to pre-established guidelines and specifications. You will have the opportunity to lead, mentor, and even train new technicians. You will also play a key role in defining and refining process. This position will help in production, integration, and test activities with a slight emphasis on integration and test. You will rely on your knowledge of the field, judgement, and previous experience to perform the functions of the job. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required and specialized knowledge in a specific area of focus. Being selected for this role will mean you have experience in the aerospace industry and knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the fields of engineering and/or science. In addition, you will demonstrate strong leadership stills, professionalism, and a positive attitude.

$27 - $40 per hour
How We Determine What We Pay (Compensation Philosophy)
Redwire determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data, for our locations throughout the US. We will evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index, in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company.
For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant’s level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and internal equity within the company for the same position. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
