As part of the Launch Vehicle Integration team, you will be a focal point for communication with the design and production department to enable the development and implementation of required assembly, integration and testing (AIT) processes. Develop the specifications for the assembly of subsystems up to the entire launch vehicle and support the development of required interfaces, jigs, tools and instructions.

More specifically, you will:

  • Generate assembly specifications for the production department
  • Generate CAD models and technical drawings for AIT procedures
  • Support the design of dedicated jigs and tools necessary for the launch vehicle AIT and attend to manufacturing and procurement
  • Support the design of necessary components and interfaces required for launch vehicle AIT
  • Support engineers to design components and systems according to AIT constraints and improve for cheaper and faster manufacturing


You have practical experience writing production specifications and assembly procedures, as well as a can-do attitude and outstanding communication skills. Additionally, you have:


  • Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Practical experience using SolidWorks or comparable CAD software
  • Practical experience with tolerance stack-up, interference and kinematic studies as well as assembly simulations
  • Fluent English


  • Hands-on AIT experience in aerospace industry

  • Basic German
