At Maxar, we are building upon our 60 year legacy of innovation and risk-taking, from designing the high gain antennas for NASA’s Voyager 1 and 2 which have raced beyond the heliosphere, into interstellar space, and are still sending back useful information about our galaxy, to establishing ourselves as the industry leader in geostationary satellites delivering services like broadband internet access, satellite radio, and direct-to-home satellite television, to designing the next generation of earth imaging satellites, building the Psyche spacecraft to study asteroids, and partnering with NASA on our PPE program in their effort to return humans to the moon!
To continue as the leader in the space industry, the Systems Engineering organization is looking for a Systems Engineering Associate to provide support for our current programs and initiatives. You would apply your technical experience to help manage program requirements including decomposition and flowdown. You will also be tasked with documenting and improving our system engineering processes. The Systems Engineering Associate role supports and works closely with other Systems Engineers, and you will receive guidance from other Systems Engineers regarding tasks and priorities. As you develop more experience as a systems engineer, you will have the opportunity to participate in program integration, verification, and validation activities.
