Position Summary This position responsible for developing hardware in support of various company products related to spacecraft subsystems. You will be involved in design activities with embedded networking technologies and will be involved in multiple projects at a time.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Analog, power, and embedded board level design, development and debug
  • Work on designs that will involve high speed signals and modern interfaces (e.g., Rocket I/O, Ethernet, LVDS)
  • Apply expertise in board schematic design to other team members.
  • Provide PCB design guidance to internal PCB Design team and external design services.
  • Interface with Software, HDL, and Mechanical design teams.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field required with Masterโ€™s degree being a plus.
  • 3 or more years relevant experience with any of the below listed areas:
  • Knowledge of microprocessor architecture, programmable logic, various memory types, discrete digital logic, etc.
  • Designing, simulating, analyzing and debugging high speed interfaces
  • Work on complex, multi-discipline programs that include mechanical, electrical and firmware with a background preferably in space systems.
  • High-speed design rules for circuit boards, layout requirements, circuit board stack-up.
  • Create and review specifications, Interface Control Documents, proposals and end user manuals.
  • Signal and power integrity simulation and analysis
  • Candidates will be submitted for background investigation for the purpose of being granted a U.S. security clearance*.
