Maxar is seeking an experienced Sr Manager, Growth Marketing (Demand Generation) to lead the planning, development and execution of commercial campaign programs and target audience experiences to generate leads across priority markets and growth from customer accounts. This role accelerates the leads through the sales and marketing journey, ultimately influencing quarterly and annual revenue growth goals. Maxar is looking for a proven leader with the ability to create experiences that engage buyers and to share demand generation results for prior roles with enterprise technology providers, including revenue contribution and deal acceleration trends.  

This role is based in Westminster, CO, or remote. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Marketing, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the company We are looking for a transformational leader who is willing to be a player/coach who will manage 2-3 individual contributors.  


Build and lead a demand generation organization that includes management of and/or cross-functional collaboration with:  

  • Product marketing to ensure consistency of messaging in demand generation campaigns to exploit competitive differentiators and to optimize account-based marketing (ABM) programs  

  • Create high quality collateral that is backed by customer data and informs buyers and accelerates the buying process.  

  • Create compelling and personalized content and calls to action that engage buying team members and accelerate deals through the sales and marketing funnel; ensure content and calls to action are aligned to messaging and mapped to segments, buyer personas and stages in the buying cycle  

  • Collaborate with digital marketing to ensure websites, landing pages and owned digital channels actively promote demand generation content and campaigns  

  • Partner with international sales and marketing to support in-region events and localization of global demand generation campaigns  

  • Sales enablement teams to develop to support each demand generation initiative and to ensure alignment with sales goals and customer success management to identify customer leads to drive customer growth by delivering effective cross-sell and upsell campaigns


Build multichannel campaigns that align messaging to the target audience to capture interest and drive demand throughout the buying journey, including:  


  • SEO — Work with digital marketing and content teams and agencies to deliver programs that improve organic search rankings and maximize investment in SEO.  

  • SEM — Lead development of ad copy and landing pages to capture lead data from paid SEM efforts.  

  • Advertising — Oversee development of targeted campaigns, retargeting, display advertising and content syndication via third parties and programmatic advertising vendors.



  • Email — Clearly articulate business value to drive interest in your products and services. Lead development of email subject lines and copy that are personalized on the basis of the needs of the target profiles.  

  • Direct mail — Identify key targets and lead the creation of compelling direct-mail offers that drive buyers to act.  

  • Direct outreach — Work closely with sales and BD to develop interactions that drive prospects and buyers to act and engage.



Develop overall tradeshow strategy and support the tradeshow calendar with comprehensive preshow, day(s) of, and follow-up campaign efforts to drive interest from attendees and accelerate engagement with existing opportunities.  


Establish and manage quarterly and annual key performance indicators and budgets for demand generation programs to ensure spend is allocated to the highest-performing marketing tactics on time and within budget. Work with key stakeholders to build and optimize ABM programs.  

Minimum Requirements:  

  • Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident

  • Minimum of 10 years of business-to-business marketing  experience with a minimum of seven years in a high-tech enterprise marketing role  

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or four additional years of work experience required 

  • Ability to travel 25-40%


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of seven years of experience leading demand generation efforts and three years of ABM (Account Based Marketing) program experience

  • Knowledge of and familiarity with CRM lead management tools, advertising technology platforms and tools  

  • Ability to forecast the marketing funnel to ensure campaigns are measured and optimized across the buying cycle and align with sales targets  

  • Ability to present results in consumable formats, including dashboards, reports and data visualizations  

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills  

  • Ability to storyboard, write, design and deliver compelling presentations to senior leaders  

  • MBA


The compensation range for this position is $107,000.00 to $178,000.00 annually, dependent on skills and experience. This position is also eligible for a bonus plan.
