About the Role:  

We are seeking a Customer Success Manager for a portfolio of accounts in Agriculture, an important industry vertical for Planet. Your mission will be to act as the primary point of contact for innovative companies adopting satellite imagery to build the future of food and agriculture production. This work involves tracking the customer lifecycle by understanding their commercial needs, driving adoption, and generating return on investment for your customers.You will leverage your geospatial background in order to act as your customer’s go-to Planet ambassador.  It is a unique role that will require maintaining a human-centered approach to relationship building in order to drive value for diverse agronomic applications using Planet data solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships 
  • Develop programs to support the agriculture community
  • Assist customers to expand their usage and adoption of our products
  • Onboarding and training of new clients
  • Process and track customer’s tasking requests
  • Provide excellent customer support, ensure successful delivery of our services, produce timely solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Communicate consistently with clients throughout the contract life-cycle, escalating important issues where needed
  • Work closely with sales representatives and other cross functional teams

What You Bring:

  • Strong and proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships or projects.
  • Experience communicating and collaborating with the agriculture industry 
  • Working knowledge of geospatial technologies, GIS, or Remote Sensing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong problem solving skills and proactive work style
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize job requirements
  • Experience and interest in identifying and building process improvements

What Makes You Stand Out:

Compensation (only applicable for Colorado applicants):

The base pay range targeted for this position in Colorado is: $60,300 - $122,000. This role is eligible for bonus, commission and equity.

The actual offer, including the compensation package, is determined based on multiple factors, including experience, location, and other business considerations.

Planet is registered as an employer in many, but not all, states. If you are not able to work from a state where Planet is registered, you will not be eligible for employment.
