The Avionics R&D Team is responsible for the design, test, and integration of the electrical systems and electronics that form the backbone of our Electron and Neutron launch vehicles, Photon satellite bus, spacecraft components, as well as ground support and test equipment.
This role is a technical role supporting the detailed design and prototyping of electronics modules and custom specialist electronics across all of our Avionics product lines. This role demands specific experience in requirements capture and design, electronic circuit design, schematic capture, printed circuit board design, electromechanical design, and electronic testing for mission-critical and safety critical circuits.

Essential
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline.
โ€ข 1+ years of experience with hardware development or electronics test engineering.
โ€ข Excellent communication both written and verbal
ย 
Desirable
โ€ข Understanding of instrumentation, interfaces and sensors including power supplies, oscilloscopes, serial devices, accelerometers, thermocouples, RTDs, and 4-20mA sensors.
โ€ข Knowledge of ARM and other microcontrollers
โ€ข Understanding in analysing circuits and developing test plans.
โ€ข Understanding of electronic circuits, design principles, and manufacturing techniques.
โ€ข Software skills e.g. C, C++, Python
