The SAP Security Systems Analyst will be responsible for configuration, defining business processes securely, user support, production issues, system testing, training and documentation across the entire S/4 Suite of systems.ย Additionally, this person will be working with various SAP developers, report writers and system analysts to assist in a variety of projects and general support security tasks.ย Responsibilities will include developing and Implementing SAP security policies, processes, architecture, training, and communications
Responsibilities
Work with the solution architects and the business process owners to translate the business requirement into the SAP Security design and maintenance of the SAP Security Roles in SAP Systems.
Identifying security solutions, implementing standards and best practices, proactively identifying and remediating vulnerabilities
Analyze, understand, and support reporting throughout the organization
Assist in periodic control activities such as regular review of user access on monthly super user review, monthly and quarterly critical role review and quarterly user account review
Ensures that SAP security architecture is in line with the company's policies and procedures
Facilitates internal and external audits as requested
Educates the organization on the role, processes, and importance of SAP security to provide expertise and value and to foster optimal working relationships, collaboration, and effective communication.
Basic Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required
Bachelorโs degree in a common field such as business, human resources, change management or equivalent combination of education and experience.ย
3-4 years of SAP applications experience, including security in SAP S/4, SAP ECC, and GRC required
1-2 years of experience working on SAP Fiori authorization concepts - Catalogs, Groups, oData services, etc. required
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with SAP Service Marketplace to implement SAP Security Notes as needed
Experience in defining and managing rule sets for business/IT risk analysis in governance, risk, and compliance solution
Individual must be able to communicate recommendations effectively to all levels in the organization.
Strong business acumen to quickly learn new business processes and understand how security needs to support the business
Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills to effectively translate ideas, concepts and information
Strong collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams
Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate business functionality and opportunities into clear, precise and easy-to-read functional specifications critical
Experience in a regulated environment
Extensive knowledge of business operations, strategies and objectives and strong facilitation, consensus building and presentation skills required.
Well-grounded in business principles, processes and concepts related to finance, sales, manufacturing, and distribution
Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse environment rather than specialized on a single module
Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system-supported solutions
Must be able to handle multiple priorities at one time and remain results-oriented
Must work well both independently and in a team environment
