Integrated Product Team Engineer - Glenn Stage II Tanks

As part of a passionate and accomplished team, you will be at the epicenter of program management, engineering, manufacturing operations, improving team effectiveness and coordination, and ensuring that the right people are working together to solve problems and deliver results for New Glenn Second Stage Tanks program. You will assume ultimate ownership and accountability for the execution of high-priority projects within the program. You will be responsible for solving communication and interpersonal problems, earning trust, and improving the overall performance of all teams involved.

We are seeking a self-motivated and highly organized individual who can apply their technical expertise and leadership skills. This individual will work with minimal direction and willingness to coordinate teams in successful execution of tank production, testing, and integration.


  • Engage in the entire design cycle of tank development including conceptual design, detailed design and analysis, manufacturing, qualification testing, integration, and mission support
  • Apply design and manufacturing knowledge/experience to lead coordination of sophisticated projects across teams and domains internally and externally to drive execution
  • Collaborate with many internal partners (welding engineering, manufacturing engineering, M&P engineering, production, design/analysis engineering) to define requirements, dependencies, and schedule needs associated with delivering the tank components for assembly and tank for testing and integration
  • Develop recovery strategies when non-conformances or other escapes are identified
  • Coordinate configuration changes with upstream and downstream partners
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans and hold team accountable for following through with planned actions
  • Review and track schedule and budget; handle and report progress to program leadership
  • Drive process improvements to continuously improve program operation with safety and quality in mind


  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in an engineering field (mechanical or aerospace engineering preferred)
  • 8+ years of proven experience in aerospace or equivalent-type systems
  • Strong technical understanding of design engineering, structural analysis, welding and materials concept, and manufacturing.
  • Experience leading multi-person development projects or has previous experience in leadership roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in a technical work environment
  • Possess high attention to detail and strong interpersonal/coordination skills
  • Strong skills for fixing complex or technical challenges and can make quick decisions to keep projects moving forward
  • Demonstrates ability in build trust and effective working relationships that improve team performance and deliver results
  • Experience and ability to work independently on rapid development programs
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.


  • Demonstrated solid understanding or expertise in the lifecycle of building a new product from design, analysis, manufacturing, testing, and deployment
  • Adaptable and willing to be creative in developing solutions to get things done
  • Strong negotiator – be able to handle pushback from various sources but can convince others the proper course of action
