Maxar is currently seeking an Customer Care, Supervisor to lead and manage our team in Westminster, CO.

Primarily Remote Work, with occasional team meetings in our Westminster headquarters.

As a supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of Imagery Support Representatives that provides an exceptional, friendly, and professional customer service experience to Maxar’s partners on the day-to-day basis.

Maxar has built robotic arms for Nasa’s Mars rovers, supported hurricane disaster responses, and enabled the US military’s global situational awareness for peacekeeping. For more than a decade, Maxar imagery has also powered Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Waze helping billions navigate, understand, and explore our planet.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 8+ years of professional experience

  • Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles

  • Applied experience in Geospatial Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing and/or Image Processing

  • Service Management/Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with premier, global organizations
  • Academic experience in GIS fields

Formal degree may be substituted with a minimum of 5 additional years of experience directly related to this industry and role.                 

Your ability to work collaboratively with other internal departments and customers to achieve Service Excellence will ensure complete and accurate delivery of the customer’s requirements.


  • Manage your team’s daily workload of current and new requests and a make the necessary decisions to maximize the efficiency of the team’s performance.

  • Provide positive coaching, development, and training to the team and meet company and departmental goals. 

  • Coordinate with other internal departments to resolve complex partner issues and develop processes for supporting Maxar products and services. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, as well as customer service experience and demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Supervise a number of team members, who may work on different work shifts.

  • Actively manage the daily workflow of the team, manage partner specific projects, and report performance or policy issues to the director.

  • Establish and maintain a positive work environment that supports a high team member morale.

  • Help train team members in a manner that builds and sustains a high-level of performance and minimizes inaccuracies, which may affect partner satisfaction levels.

  • Ability to make decisions and provide resolutions for matters escalated by our partners, sales, and team members.

  • Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors and functional peer groups.

  • Contribute to a culture of leadership and help the team progress in their careers.

  • Approve time sheets, manage PTO requests.

  • Provide annual performance evaluations and goals.

  • Conduct the hiring and training of new team members.

The compensation range for this position is $71,000 to $118,000 annually, dependent on skills and experience.
