JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a GL Staff Accountant to support our accounting team as we continue to streamline our processes to support the growing business. The ideal candidate should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own processes within month end closing procedures including account reconciliations, journal entry posting, and analytical review
• Research and prepare journal entries for cash reconciliation
• Collaborate with business development team in reviewing customer contracts and accounts receivable processing
• Review of accounting for fixed assets, prepaids, and other relevant classifications
• Preparation of audit support documentation

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Experience working with Excel, especially in creating well-organized accounting schedules
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education & Work Experience:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 5+ Relevant prior work experience

Compensation is commensurate with experience and training. This is a full-time remote position or can work from our office in San Jose, California. This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3) is required.
