Team:  

We are looking for an Office Assistant to join our growing team at our launch site near Cape Canaveral, Florida.  You will be responsible for the day-to-day office and facilities activities including to support launch infrastructure and related facilities.  You bring curiosity for our unique technology and our production processes and are eager to help build a next generation launch site.     

What you’ll do: 

This position is part of our Launch and Infrastructure organization, which oversee launch operations, new construction projects, and facility operations and maintenance, and overall facilities/offices management.  Our offices are a key part to Relativity’s success in creating the first autonomous rocket factory and delivering industry-leading launch services to our customers. 

As an Office Assistant at Relativity, you will be at the forefront to create a world class orbital launch site by supporting the office manager with day-to-day activities including:

  • Office events and employee experience
  • Maintain office equipment as needed (printer, supplies, paper, etc.)
  • Running errands as needed to support business needs
  • Coordinate company provided lunches
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas in all facilities (breakroom, bathroom, conference room, etc.)
  • Maintain daily stock and maintain inventory of janitorial, office, and food and beverage items for the Cape facility
  • Assist with badging, NDA requirements, and safety training

What you need to know:  

Prior experience as an office assistant / general helper or other related role

  • Proficiency in MS office and other traditional computer software
  • Demonstrated customer service excellence and ability to communicate highly effectively in verbal/written form with internal and external customers
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Recognize and act on opportunities; maintain flexibility to adjust as requirements shift or constraints change
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, supplies, and facility needs
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
  • Must hold a valid driver license
  • Willingness to step beyond traditional office management role as needed to support the company mission

Nice to haves but not required:  

  • Experience with facilities and systems within the aerospace industry
  • Familiar with aerospace planning, procedures and operations
  • Experience working on CCAFS and knowledge of range permitting / approval processes
  • Associate of Arts degree
  • Experience with Launch Operations
