The Role

As a Mission Integration Tools Lead, you will lead the team designing, developing, and delivering a software/hardware-in-the-loop “mini-satellite” solution for our customers to use to during development and verification of their payload, reducing the time and effort of integrating on the actual satellite. You and your team will be at the forefront of Loft’s technical efforts enabling customer success. You will also be responsible for gathering internal and external feedback for integration tooling improvements.

Must Haves

  • Ability to troubleshoot and effectively communicate issues and solutions
  • Passion providing technical leadership and oversight to a tight knit team
  • Proven ability to manage Linux systems
  • Experience setting up a hardware in the loop (HIL) test bench
  • Competency with one or more scripting languages


Nice to Haves

  • Proficient with Python
  • Proficient with C/C++
  • Understanding of how to create, configure, and manage Docker containers
  • Experience with Gitlab CI/CD pipelines
  • Aptitude for gathering requirements from multiple stakeholders and implementing test infrastructure improvements
