Role:
Capella is seeking a Regulatory Engineer to join the Capella Engineering team. As a Regulatory Engineer you’ll work with the Direct Access Services team, Ground Segment team, and Legal/Regulatory Compliance teams building a technical understanding of the Capella Ground Segment, Space Segment, and Direct Access Ground Station Segment and ensuring Capella’s technical solutions satisfy applicable regulatory requirements.
You will be responsible for identifying regulatory requirements applicable to Capella’s technical solutions and managing the process for submitting and maintaining regulatory filings, including NOAA Commercial Remote Sensing license modifications, FCC/ITU filings, and ITAR/EAR export licensing. In addition, you will support managing and responding to various regulatory inspection, compliance, export classification and other requests or proceedings involving Capella.
The candidate for this position can work remotely or hybrid in the San Francisco, CA, Boulder, CO or Washington, DC areas.
