The Role: Spire is hiring an entry-level junior video editor who will report into the Brand/Creative team and work with Communications and business unit marketing teams to create high-impact use case, thought-leadership and customer videos that communicate the differentiated technology of Spire.


  • Be Spire’s “one person band” for all things video. 
  • Edit customer videos, thought leadership, and technology videos.
  • Edit existing a-roll and b-roll into short powerful video vignettes that attract the attention of and resonate with investors, press, and prospects. 
  • Occasionally shoot video in the field of customers and material relevant to telling the differentiated Spire technology story. 
  • Run video and creative operations to keep the creative flow through Brand running efficiently and effectively.


Basic requirements: 

  • Demonstrable proficiency in Adobe Premiere, or similar non-linear editing platform. 
  • 2-4 years of experience editing video/post-production experience, either in college or in workplace. 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, in film, video, or documentary filmmaking.
  • Basic ability to shoot and stage video productions, including knowledge of the latest video cameras, lenses, and knowledge of 3-point lighting, and audio production.


Preferred requirements: 

  • Ability to be a self-starter, and work independently, as well as cross-functionally to meet lead gen, brand, and marketing requirements in videos. 
  • Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects a huge bonus, and ability to do basic animation.
