What are the limits of innovation and exploration? How do we continue to evolve as a species?

SUMMARY: This position will work on-site at our headquarters in Houston, Texas.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the coordination of the AS9100 certification process

• Continuous improvement to Quality Management System and document file organization

• Working with functional leads on Key Performance Indicator inputs and updating Key Performance Indicator Dashboard

• Conduct internal audits

• Identify Mandatory and Key inspection points for manufacturing and assembly of spaceflight hardware and ground support equipment

• Inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field

• 5+ years’ experience in a Quality Control ISO 9001 and AS9100 working environment

• Experience in CMM operation and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

• Experience in document control within an ERP system

• ASQ certification preferred

Essential Functions

Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.

Requirements 

• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

• Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

 Physical Requirements

• Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).

• Equipment and Machines

• Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).

Skills

• Expert skill level with MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint

• Extraordinarily organized, able to prioritize and follow through on all work

• Excellent communicator who is flexible and accessible

• Ability to handle multiple assignments and working in a dynamic environment
