  • Model all kinds of electrical loads within the Spectrum Power Simulation (valves, electrical drives, passive loads)
  • Support the development and testing of power electronics within other teams (e.g., stepper motors)
  • Test & verify the state machine that governs the behavior of the electrical system
  • Test & verify the battery system and solid-state power controller of the electrical power system

WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU HAVE

Musts:

  • BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or comparable
  • Enhanced knowledge of power electronics and electrical drives
  • Hands-on experience in power systems or power electronics
  • Very good knowledge of Matlab Simulink and modelling of electrical drives
  • Show good understanding of the control theory of electrical drives
  • Experience in electrical circuit and board design
  • Experience in testing electrical circuits or electrical systems
  • Passionate about new space, curious and eager to learn
  • Driven to deliver and constantly push the boundaries
  • Take ownership and accountability for your own actions and mistakes
  • Humble and willing to go out of your way to help others
  • Can-do attitude and outstanding communication skills
  • Fluent English

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with electronic unit design and testing
  • Knowledge of Li-Ion battery systems

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE SELECTION PROCESS:

If your profile matches our needs, you will be contacted in a few weeks by our Talent team for a first HR video-interview. A technical assignment might be sent to you in order to assess your knowledge on the topics required for the job. In case of positive outcome, you will then attend 1-2 technical interview(s) with your potential future colleagues.
