Maxar is seeking a Corporate Marketing and Brand Manager to join our team in Westminster, CO or Herndon, VA, or Palo Alto, CA. In this role, you will lead integrated marketing and branding efforts to tell the Maxar story to various audiences. To be successful, you must be highly motivated, and extremely organized with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and serving stakeholders across the globe. You will utilize your attention to detail, your experience in project management and your writing abilities to create content and campaigns that bring the brand to life for Maxar customers, employees, investors and more.
Content creation and storytelling
Write and manage messaging documents, talking points, blog posts, website copy, video scripts, advertisements, case studies and other marketing content
Support Sales, the Executive Leadership Team, Investor Relations, and other internal stakeholders with material that communicates the value of Maxar and its offerings
Serve as a brand subject matter expert and go-to resource for Maxar brand identity, with an eye for consistency in messaging to review presentations, images and other collateral for consistency and accuracy
Collaborate with cross-functional peers in event management, corporate communications, creative and digital marketing to ensure brand consistency through all deliverables
Partner with teams internally to increase employee brand ambassadorship
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or another relevant field. Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
Minimum of 5 years related work experience
>10% travel required
Experience in aerospace, defense, technology or emerging markets
Exceptional writing, editing and oral communications skills with the ability to convey highly complex information in clear, compelling ways
Proficient in marketing copywriting—video scripts in particular
Experience in developing and executing integrated strategic marketing plans to support key internal and external stakeholders
Ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and executive leadership
Familiarity with marketing trends and industry techniques
Ability to distill complex concepts and stories into clear messages for both technical and non-technical audiences
Project management skills with the ability to see how tactics fit into the big picture
Experience in rebranding and brand education, for internal audiences in particular
Excellent PowerPoint skills
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to set and assess key performance metrics for brand initiatives and marketing campaigns
Able to quickly grasp new ideas and tools
Superior productivity and time management with and without deadlines
In Colorado, the compensation range for this position is $70,500.00 to $117,500.00 annually dependent on skills and experience
