As the Software Engineering your work will support the design and production of exciting space projects, like Dream Chaser, Orbital Reef, or other projects.

As the Software Engineer, you will develop toolboxes of highly reusable, high-quality DXL scripts to be used in the requirements development lifecycle, program startup and ongoing program support phases of our products.  These industry-defining products cover a wide variety from electronic systems and advanced mission payloads through highly integrated space exploration systems and even orbital habitats.  Come join our team and make your mark on the Future of Space!

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or other related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience. Additional related experience may be considered in lieu of education; Higher education may be considered in lieu of experience.

  • Fluency in one or more programming or scripting language such as DXL, VBA or JAVA.

  • Practical knowledge of software or systems engineering lifecycle, practices, and principles.

Preferred:

  • Extensive experience with DOORS DXL scripting language.

  • Experience with DOORS administration or requirements management as an engineer or administrator.

  • Experience with DOORS Rational Publishing Engine.

  • Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Spiral.

  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) tools such as PTC Windchill.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required.  Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $101,774.67 - $139,940.19
