About the Opportunity
As a Spacecraft Test Technician, you will be using your skills and previous experience in a Mission-critical role to perform a variety of integration and environmental testing activities from the time a new spacecraft arrives at the facility until it is integrated and ready for launch. You'll be following procedures to build and test both ground and flight hardware, operate thermal vacuum chambers and support vibration or vehicle integration campaigns (some travel required). You'll work closely with Deployable, Mechanical, Electrical, and Software teams to solve problems, move roadblocks and maintain schedule.


Support of all Spacecraft Integration & Test activities Including, but not limited to:

  • Component assembly
  • Deployable structures integration
  • Functional and environmental testing support
  • Hardware configuration changes
  • Launch vehicle integration
  • Test fixture development


  • Experience in aviation or aerospace in a hands-on assembly and testing technician role
  • Experience in space systems or other mission-critical field
  • Ability to design and fabricate electro-mechanical test fixtures, jigs, assembly aids, tools, etc.
  • Superior attention to detail and passion for quality
  • Experience with Engineering documentation control (parts lists, drawings, procedures)
  • Proven track record of documentation and process excellence
  • Positive outlook and ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced asynchronous manufacturing environment


  • Spacecraft assembly/testing experience
  • Thermal Vacuum testing experience
  • Vibration Testing experience
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python
  • Specification Soldering certification or experience (NASA, IPC, J-standard)
  • Familiarity with RF testing and equipment
  • Forklift certification
