About the Team

At Capella we are all about making it simple to get the most out of SAR imagery, from making it easy to task and download imagery to extracting measurements. The Capella Processing team is responsible for building, operating, and validating the algorithms for turning radar signals into images and core radar-based measurements.

About the Role

Capella is looking for a Senior InSAR Engineer to join the processing team. 

In this role you will be expanding the value of Capella imagery using repeat pass InSAR techniques. You will have the opportunity to build out world scalable InSAR. At Capella you’ll work with people with a wide range of expertise from engineers developing and maintaining the image processing, engineers designing and building satellites, engineers managing the automated operations, to team members from sales and customer success teams working with our customers daily. Your work won’t be limited to a single department, you will be able to advise on the optimal tasking and operations of the satellite in order to acquire the highest quality Interferograms for different applications or even the satellite and overall constellation design.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of signal processing experience
  • 3+ years repeat pass InSAR development
  • Excellent and proactive communication
  • Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision

Preferred

  • Experience with project management tools like JIRA & Confluence
  • Experience with GIS Systems and/or geospatial data products and standards
  • Professional experience in C/C++, Python, git, and Linux
  • PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent combination of technical education and work experience related to InSAR.
