Capella is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Direct Access Services team. Capella's Direct Access Services will support a diverse set of customers around the globe with a variety of missions including satellite downlink, SAR image processing, and analytics processing. You will be interacting daily with systems engineers, testers, project managers, hardware/infrastructure engineers, ground system software engineers, space operations engineers, and IT/security to build the processes and pipelines for Direct Access Services.
You’re an independent problem-solver that seeks out ways to make our systems better, learns best-practices, and wants to help support our cloud-based services and infrastructure and enable them to run in an on-premises environment. You will help create infrastructure as code to build out on-premises hardware, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, automated deployment systems, and train other engineers in how to use and understand what you’re making.
We touch a wide variety of technologies on a daily basis. Here's a list of some that you would likely end up interacting with at some point: Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, Redis, InfluxDB, MongoDB, Grafana, Prometheus, and more. If you have a solid background in software architecture/engineering and are familiar with the tools we use, we’d like to meet you. The position is available in San Francisco, CA or Boulder, CO.
